$2.5M paving project will improve the parking lots and roadways throughout the port

CALEXICO, Calif. – The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) announced the start of a $2.5 million project to repave parking lots and key roadways within the Calexico East Land Port of Entry (LPOE). The paving project will take place over a period of three weeks, starting on Sunday, November 1, 2020, and last until Friday, November 20, 2020. The first week of work involves repaving the SENTRI permit processing, and CBP employee parking lots and auxiliary roadways. This closure is necessary to accommodate paving operations during this period. One lane will remain open for southbound vehicles to cross into Mexicali.
