A. Imperial County Regional Technical Assistance Plan

Presentation by Sohab Mehmood, Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) and Jennifer

Gastelum, PlaceWorks

B. IVRMA Electronic Annual Reporting Programs (EAR), Household Hazardous Waste Information Exchanges

(HHWIE), Part I

Background Information:

The EAR has 43 combined programs within the Source Reduction Recycling Elements (SRRE) & Household

Hazardous Waste Information Exchanges (HHWIE) which require reporting for the year 2021

The presentations will reflect:

a. The programs required by law

b. The programs that are monitored by the cities and IVRMA

c. The progress in each one (This meeting will only focus on the HHWIE since it is what we are reporting

this coming month)

d. The status of each program to allow the cities to focus their resources on the ones that need improvement

and reallocate those resources used on the ones no longer needed since 2006

e. What is being reported and how is IVRMA involved

f. Recommendations to increase diversion on required elements/programs under HHWIE

VII. ACTION CALENDAR

A. 2022 State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) Recommendations for Imperial County

It is requested that the ICTC Management Committee forward this item to the ICTC Commission for their

review and approval, after public comment if any.

1. Approve the 2022 STIP Recommendations for Imperial County, requesting to fund Planning,

Programming and Monitoring (PPM) activities in the following distributions:

a. program a total of $506,507 ($394,000 from 2022 STIP RIP funds and $112,507 from COVID STIP Relief Funds) for ICTC staff Planning, Programming and Monitoring (PPM) activities as follows: $98,000 in fiscal years 2022-23, 2023-24 and 2024-25, and $212,507 in fiscal year 2025-26.

b. Carryover the remaining available balance of $10,821,642 ($8,684,000 from STIP RIP and $2,137,642 from COVID STIP Relief Funds) for the Forrester Road improvement project.

A. The next Management Committee Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. via Zoom Meeting.
